HEAR O ISRAEL

The SHEMA THESIS begins and ends with this essential truth, which from the beginning, proceeded out of the mouth of God:

DEUTERONOMY 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord.

Sola Scriptura

The SHEMA THESIS can only be categorized as Sola Scriptura, meaning, "Scripture Only", a Christian theological doctrine which holds that the Scriptures are the sole infallible rule of faith and practice.

ROMANS 10:17
10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

This is an in-depth literary analysis of the Apocalypse of Jesus Christ from a non-denominational, literary point of view, with each verse of the prophecy supported by contextually relevant cross-referenced Scriptures, gathered from all over the Bible to assemble the building blocks of prophecy - with far more stones of Scripture than the weak mortar of sectarian commentary for the highest fidelity to the Scriptures.

Scripture Interprets Scripture

The foundational approach of this thesis is this: Nothing interprets Scripture more faithfully than Scripture, which is of no private interpretation; it tells its own narrative, on its own terms, without apology, and defines its own metaphors from the beginning to the end of the volume of the Book.

For those who love the Word of God, more than the words and the traditions of men, and those with a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the æons, this App will provide weeks and months of challenging and relevant Bible study on a very advanced and in-depth level that you may not expect because the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Gospel Matters

If you do not embrace the lukewarm, watered-down, world-friendly gospel that does not offend the religious empires of the Dragon, then your Rock might not be their rock.

ROMANS 9:33
9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Following the unoffending crowd off the cliff might not be the best plan, according to Jesus.

MATTHEW 7:13-23
7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Watch Therefore

MATTHEW 24:42-51
24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 24:46 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 24:47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; 24:49 And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him,] and in an hour that he is not aware of, 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint [him] his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The blasphemous population of Babylon are not who you might think.

REVELATION 18:4
18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Those lost Saints should have never been in Babylon from the start, but many have been born in captivity, while others were seduced by the voice of the Dragon and its empires of organized religion and their altars.

REVELATION 18:4
18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

It is never too late to get back to God, prayerfully read His Word, and do His will, until the hour the door is shut.

MATTHEW 25:1-13
25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 25:2 And five of them were wise, and five [were] foolish. 25:3 They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 25:9 But the wise answered, saying, [Not so;] lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The Great Tribulation

If you are passively waiting for an eventual "Pre-Tribulation Rapture" to happen "whenever", then you are about two thousand years too late - and sound asleep on your watch, having totally failed to do the one thing that Jesus urged all of his people to do until he returns - watch.

MARK 13:37
13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

For failing that command, there is no excuse.

If you have been watching, then you already know that the Great Tribulation is past; the Fifth Seal of the martyrdoms was opened back in the days of the Roman Emperor Nero; the Sixth Seal was opened when the heavens were darkened at the casting down of Satan when the powers of the heavens were shaken; and now, with the Seventh Seal opened, the Days of Vengeance began with the sound of the Trumpets blowing and the Vials of wrath being poured upon the nations like never before.

2 PETER 3:3-4
3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation.

The beginning of creation never included supersonic jet flight, space travel, nuclear weapons, computer technology, nor television; knowledge has been increasing like a sudden flood.

DANIEL 12:4
12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

And the morality of the times are also very similar to the days of Lot.

LUKE 17:28-30
17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed [them] all. 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

No one from the organized religions are watching on the wall for you; they are too busy going the way of Balaam, making merchandise of the sheep, building their spiritual mausoleums in the high places.

Most of what the sheep were taught was a lie, exactly as it was foretold.

You can see for yourself that the world has been moving closer toward the brink for generations; and, if the things that you see around you now seem like they are growing more and more antagonistic toward the Lord Almighty, while the churches sleep on - then you are definitely not mistaken.

All Seven Seals were opened long ago, and the Trumpets are still sounding - if you can see and hear what Jesus told us to watch for, as the watchmen on the wall.

The Testimony

The SHEMA THESIS is not a new testimony; this is the testimony of Jesus, stripped of the traditions of men that make the word of God void.

MARK 12:29
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is,] Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Shema. That basic truth is our Rock.

MATTHEW 7:24-29
7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. 7:28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 7:29 For he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as the scribes.

The full authority of this testimony is found in its strict adherence in its thesis to all of the Scriptures of Truth, rather than the vanities of the religious traditions of men and their various sectarian dogma.

This testimony is not made to create a new sect, nor build a new empire of men, but to publish the testimony of Jesus Christ for those the Lord Almighty has called and chosen to stand and speak the testimony.

DANIEL 12:10
12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

That time is rapidly approaching.

According to John

This passage was written back in the days of the Apostle John - nearly two-thousand years ago.

1 JOHN 2:18
2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The Great Tribulation is not some future event; it is almost over, and the Days of Vengeance are already here.

Now is that time to pray for, and to receive, the Seal of God, and set that truth deep into your daily spiritual life before the door closes because it is last call before closing time at the bar.

If you prefer hearing the words of men over hearing the Word of God, and you spend all of your spare time hypnotized by the image that speaks - then this App is definitely not for you.

But if you live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, and you already know that strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it, then this App is confirmation that the Book of Revelation was not written for some unknown church of the "left behind", but that it was written for you because His sheep hear His voice.

The good news is, the Gospel of Jesus Christ saves.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches... Shema.

THESIS

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יהוה אֶחָד

DEUTERONOMY 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord.

Moses and the Ten Commandments

The Shema

The starting and ending point of this thesis is the first truth revealed by the Lord Almighty in the desert to the children of Israel, who He redeemed out of the house of bondage in Egypt - the Shema:

DEUTERONOMY 6:4
Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is One Lord.

Shema is a Hebrew word that corresponds to "Listen", a command that the Lord gave as an eternal commandment to remember that He is not like the triune gods of Egypt, but One.

This is far more than a mere statement of faith; it is the foundation of all truth, which the Lord revealed about Himself, about His nature, that separated Him from Egypt's pantheon of Mystery religion gods.

Abstract

The Apocalypse of Jesus Christ, also known as the Book of Revelation, was intended to be fully understood by the elders of the seven churches to which it was sent, as actionable intelligence of the great tribulation to come, all the way to the consummation of this age, and the coming of the Kingdom of God on earth – for the purpose of overcoming the Antichrist, when he appears as the counterfeit Christ, the supposed god-man who the Lord Almighty said is no god.

This thesis demonstrates exactly how the Revelation was intended to be fully understood by the elders of the seven churches, whereby, all with a genuine interest, free of superstition, and the doctrines of men, can do the same - Sola Scriptura, by Scripture only.

Foundational Data

For a complete data set of the available inspired literature, Old and New Testament Scriptures from the King James Authorized Version Bible have been polled for contextual correspondences, as well as the apocryphal book of Second Esdras, which was originally published in the 1611 King James Version Bible, before that book of directly related prophecies was removed by sectarian committee decision.

Additionally, the Ethiopic book of Enoch is likewise polled, due to the Gospels, and the New Testament Epistles of Peter and Jude having made direct references to it, as well as it being the source for the messianic term, the “Son of Man”, referenced throughout the New Testament as a whole.

Under the native assumption that Jesus and his Apostles, bearing firsthand witness, carry a higher authority for Canonization than secondhand, self-appointed authorities, separated by many generations from the witness of the time of Christ, no miraculous, nor divine intervention has been attributed in this thesis to the motivations, decisions, and actions of any sectarian board, group, cult, or religious incorporation, to add or remove books from the various Canon of Scripture, when already validated as Canon by the Apostles in the known body of inspired literature.

Whereas, various sects around the world hold some books within the literature to be genuinely inspired, and hold other books not genuine, the subjective validity of any determination of what is, and what is not divinely inspired literature can be as varied and as subjective as the sects that maintain their own Canon of Scripture.

Therefore, the most reliable means of Canonical determination used in this thesis is Biblical correspondence.

Conformation to the essential principles and textual evidence of the Masoretic texts of the Old Testament, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the Epistles of the New, are employed as the benchmark for qualification as inspired literature, within the data set of inspired literature used herein.

Gnostic literature, as well as Mystery School literature, have been excluded, precisely for failing the benchmark stated above.

Further exclusions of anecdotal evidence include religious proclamations, popular culture, committee doctrines, private interpretations, prophecies by apparitions, omens, divinations, and other various and sundry extra-Biblical hearsay, which do not conform to the body of Biblical evidence.

Premise

The SHEMA THESIS uses the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ as the final sequential structure, the blueprints of the Apocalypse, in which all of Biblical prophecy fits into, as a terminal and accountable whole.

Within that structure, each verse of the Revelation of Jesus Christ cross-references to one or [many] more supporting Scriptures throughout the Bible, which stack neatly into a much fuller narrative that is constructed by the Scriptures themselves.

The premise of this thesis is that the Revelation is not a literal document, but employs the use of metaphor to veil its very tangible message, its own native eschatology, which would be understood by those it was intended for, while leaving those unfamiliar with the Scriptures with nothing actionable.

Essentially, the Revelation employs a form of encryption as simple as speaking another language within the common language; a language known only to those who had dedicated the time to learn the Scriptures in depth – the language of Biblical prophecy.

Methodology

The methodology for apprehending that intended interpretation of the Revelation is via the definitions of the metaphors provided throughout the Bible to define its own variables, i.e., the metaphors, presented in the Revelation.

The validity of this methodology is based on the two closing statements of Jesus Christ, made to each of the Seven Churches addressed in chapters two and three in the Revelation, which state, “Overcome”, and, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”

Those elders in the seven churches are told what they will have to overcome, and they are expected to do so, whereby, they are also given the means of correctly interpreting the Book of Revelation that each would receive.

The means for correct interpretation are provided in the direct Gospel reference to having ears to hear.

MATTHEW 13:9-16
13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and [their] ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with [their] eyes, and hear with [their] ears, and should understand with [their] heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 13:16 But blessed [are] your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Because Jesus overtly states that he deliberately veils the truth of his message via parable, or metaphor, he ensures that those who do not understand his metaphors would not understand what would be obvious to someone familiar with the body of Scripture.

The key to understanding the Revelation with "ears that hear" is provided more concisely in that same chapter.

MATTHEW 13:34-35
13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

In the Gospel, Jesus overtly states that the secrets of God, kept hidden from the foundation of the world, are directly understandable through his parables, i.e., metaphor.

Because Jesus Christ is the Word, and the volume of the Book testifies to him, his definitions for prophetic metaphors are likewise knowable within the volume of that same Book, the body of the Scriptures of truth, which define everything, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, as Revelation 19:10 establishes.

Conclusion

The compilation of a data set of prophetic definitions of metaphor found throughout Scripture is the key to understanding the Revelation as a whole.

Within the SHEMA THESIS App, a comprehensive body of study is contained for the user to peruse and use to understand the veiled truths, hidden from the foundation of the world, as revealed by the Scriptural definitions of the metaphoric encryption method employed in the Book of Revelation.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches... Shema.

EARS TO HEAR

The phrase, “Who hath ears to hear, let him hear”, occurs fourteen times in the New Testament.

The significance is twice seven, indicating a special Divine revelation made by Jesus Christ to the Saints.

Who Hath Ears To Hear, Shema.

Jesus drew conspicuous attention to what he was revealing with this phrase for a reason.

The key to understanding the Revelation with "ears to hear" is provided more concisely in that same chapter.

In the Gospel, Jesus overtly states that the secrets of God, kept hidden from the foundation of the world, are directly understandable through his parables, from which we would learn some very amazing things - if we can listen intently enough to understand.

That makes it very important to pay extra close attention to this very emphatic phrase.

In addition to the seven occurrences of this phrase in the Book of Revelation, to each of the Seven Churches, it also appears once more, in chapter 13, making eight uses of it in the Revelation prophecy.

Six other uses of this phrase occur in the Gospels, making fourteen occurrences in total, excluding the parallel occurrences of the identical topic in its corresponding synoptic Gospel account.

The use of this phrase in the Gospels illustrates some very important revelations that have deep significance to the greater reality of our history and existence.

Therefore, each occurrence must be considered very diligently until they are fully understood.

Having Ears To Hear means more than mere reading comprehension; it means assembling strings of defined metaphors into complete, tangible concepts.

All seven are itemized below for your consideration.

1. Of John The Baptist

MATTHEW 11:15
11:7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? 11:8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft [clothing] are in kings' houses. 11:9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 11:10 For this is [he,] of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. 11:14 And if ye will receive [it,] this is Elias, which was for to come. 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

2. Of The Sower

MATTHEW 13:9
13:1 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side. 13:2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 13:4 And when he sowed, some [seeds] fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 13:6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

3. Of The Tares

MATTHEW 13:43
13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one; ]13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

4. Of Jesus Revealing All Secrets

MARK 4:23
4:21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? 4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. 4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

5. Of Traditions Of Men Making The Word Of God Void

MARK 7:16
7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem. 7:2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. 7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash [their] hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders. 7:4 And [when they come] from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, [as] the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables. 7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with [their] lips, but their heart is far from me. 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men. 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. 7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: 7:11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, [It is] Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; [he shall be free.] 7:12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. 7:14 And when he had called all the people [unto him,] he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one [of you,] and understand: 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man. 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

6. Of Sacrificing Everything To Follow Christ

LUKE 14:35
14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 14:26 If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have [sufficient] to finish [it?] 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish [it,] all that behold [it] begin to mock him, 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. 14:34 Salt [is] good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; [but] men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

7. Of The Patience And Faith Of The Saints

REVELATION 13:9
13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the Saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the Saints.

THE FAITH OF JESUS

REVELATION 14:12
14:12 Here is the patience of the Saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

What is the Faith of Jesus?

The question is not, What is your faith; the question is, What is the Faith of Jesus?

The Faith of Jesus is the full Shema, all of the Commandments of God, taken to a higher level, even above that which was given to Moses.

MARK 12:29-31
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is,] Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The Faith of Jesus was always keeping the Commandments of God.

The Saints share that same Faith, but their sins have been blotted out by the Blood of the Lamb.

Some continue to serve sin, under the bondage of it - after having been redeemed for a price.

ROMANS 6:12-14
6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 6:13 Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God. 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

The deceived say they are under "grace", so they can continue to serve sin, cheating on their spouses, breaking Commandments, believing, "once saved, always saved" but when someone abuses the Grace of God - there are severe consequences.

HEBREWS 6:4-6
6:4 For [it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.

Even the grace of God has a limit, where the bad fruit betrays the nature of its tree and it is hewn down to destruction.

MATTHEW 7:15-20

The fruits of sin are lawlessness, whereas, the fruits of the Spirit are righteousness, which is measured by the reed of the Law.

Those who overcome the Adversary and the world keep His Commandments, that same Faith of Jesus to do the stated will of God.

Most have never committed those simple Ten Commandments to memory, but they know all of the words to all of their favorite songs.

If the Commandments of God are not committed to memory, like frontlets between the eyes, now is the time to have that Seal.

The Law Of God

These are the Ten Commandments give by the Finger of God into the hands of Moses.

DEUTERONOMY 5:1-22
5:1 And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 5:2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb. 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, [even] us, who [are] all of us here alive this day. 5:4 The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, 5:5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

First Commandment

5:6 I [am] the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

Second Commandment

5:8 Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me, 5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Third Commandment

5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Fourth Commandment

5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee. 5:13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 5:14 But the seventh day [is] the sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

Fifth Commandment

5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Sixth Commandment

5:17 Thou shalt not kill.

Seventh Commandment

5:18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

Eighth Commandment

5:19 Neither shalt thou steal.

Ninth Commandment

5:20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Tenth Commandment

5:21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any [thing] that [is] thy neighbour's.

5:22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

Keep The Law

If you do not typically (1) worship other gods; (2) make or bow down to representations of God or gods; (3) call anything "God" besides the God of Israel; (4) work on the seventh day; (5) disrespect your mother or father; (6) commit murder; (7) cheat on your spouse; (8) steal; (9) testify falsely; (10) indulge in jealousy and coveting - then you can keep the Commandments of God as a righteous way of life.

In fact, the Lord Almighty expects you to do exactly that - by His command, and by the command of Jesus.

DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9
6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD: 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 6:8 And thou shalt bind them fora sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 6:9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Keeping the Commandments of God is easier than most have been taught.

Deceivers insist, "No one can keep the Law", but that is what God requires.

1 JOHN 2:3-6
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he [Jesus] walked.

The Voice Of The Dragon

Jesus overcame the Adversary by keeping the Commandments of God.

MATTHEW 4:8-10
4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Jesus did not break the First Commandment by worshipping that fallen creature as the Creator.

But when that Man of Sin appears to the world, as the false christ, many will give him that worship that he craves.

Patience Of The Saints

The Saints will stand firm, and never worship Lucifer, the god-man, who calls himself Jesus the Christ, no matter what signs and wonders they are shown.

MATTHEW 24:21-25
24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.

REVELATION 14:12
14:12 Here is the patience of the Saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches... Shema.

THE SEAL OF GOD

Whereas, the Mark of the Beast in the forehead, X ξ ς, Chi-X-us (pronounced phonetically as Chee-Z-us, with the X pronounced just as the English letter Z, as in Xerox or Xenophobia), seals the fate of those who perish in the lake of fire - there is also a corresponding Seal of God, marked in the foreheads of the Saints who overcome the Beast.

REVELATION 9:3-4
9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

In Revelation chapter 7, there are 144,000 of the children of Israel sealed, but that does not mean that only the Natural Branches are sealed; the Engrafted Branches are also sealed in their foreheads beforehand - by the Spirit of God.

EPHESIANS 4:29-32
4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

The Seal of God is related directly to certain behavior: Breaking the Commandments of God grieves the Holy Spirit; whereas, obeying the Commandments of God is honoring Him because the Holy Spirit is our guarantee of bodily Resurrection.

EPHESIANS 1:3-14
1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ: 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 1:8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 1:13 In whom ye also [trusted,] after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

The Spirit of God upon us is the enforcement power of that Seal - until the day of Redemption, which is why the plagues of the apocalypse do not threaten those with the Seal of God in their foreheads.

Jesus had the Seal, upon his baptism.

JOHN 6:27
6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

The Seal Is Defined

The Scriptures define the Seal of God in very certain and inarguable terms, given to the Prophet Moses from the beginning.

The Holy Spirit personifies the Seal of God inwardly by faith, whereas, the Shema embodies it outwardly by works, which is why it is written that faith without works is dead.

JAMES 2:18-20
2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead
?

The Commandments of God still matter.

The Shema

DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9
6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD: 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 6:7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 6:8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 6:9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

The commandments of God are the Seal of God in the hand and in the forehead of His people, the Saints.

Breaking the Commandments of God grieves the Holy Spirit.

First and foremost of the commandments, the Shema is the Holy Name of the Lord Almighty, YHVH, whereas, the blasphemous name of the Antichrist, Chi-X-us, the name of the one who makes himself co-equal to God, is the Mark of the Beast.

That is not to say, Jesus Christ is not the Anointed one, but to say that the Antichrist, the false christ, is the counterfeit who makes himself co-equal to the Lord Almighty, showing himself to be God before the congregation in the holy place - and those who take his mark by worshipping him as God is that ultimate act of blasphemy and abomination.

Neither Seal nor Mark are artificial technologies; these are the brands on the servants of their respective Lords - one is the Lord Almighty from the beginning, whereas, the other is the Lawless one, the one without the Law - no Shema.

Jesus Testifies To The Shema

MARK 12:28-31
12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is,] Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 12:31 And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

The Greek is very precise.

MARK 12:29

Translated word for word:
12:29 answered, Jesus the foremost is, Hear Israel: Lord the God of us Lord one [only] is.

The word "one" is heis [εἷς] (Strong's Greek 1520) meaning, "one" in the numeric sense. The following word "is" is estin [ἐστιν] (Strong's Greek 1510) meaning, "exists", in the first person singular sense.

Jesus Christ testified to Shema, One and only one numeric, singular God, and all of the commandments of God - the Seal of God in the foreheads of the Saints.

REVELATION 14:12
14:12 Here is the patience of the Saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

The Mark of the Beast, ChiXus, 666, the name of blasphemy, is the anti-thesis to the Shema thesis, the Seal of God in the forehead, which inarguably holds:

DEUTERONOMY 6:4
6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD

The Shema Seal

ISAIAH 8:16
8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

The Shema IS the Seal of God in the forehead.

Commandments Still In Effect

The voice of the Dragon beguiles, saying that the commandments of God are done away and of no effect.

However, in the Gospel, Jesus testifies to the exact opposite.

MATTHEW 7:17-20
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them,] the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches... Shema.

GOD IS ONE

The Faith of Jesus was always in One God - the Father, the One Who sent him - the life of Jesus was a living testimony to that simple Faith.

That is an inarguable fact, fully demonstrated in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and fully supported by the Epistles and by the Revelation.

This is not an inconsequential bit of theology to be trifled with - the Shema is what determines who receives eternal life - and who is guilty of committing the Unforgivable Sin of blaspheming the Spirit of the Lord Almighty.

JOHN 17:3
17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 CORINTHIANS 8:5-7
8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 8:6 But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him. 8:7 Howbeit [there is] not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat [it] as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

Paul says not everyone knows that there is but One God because they are weak minded.

Shema: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is One Lord.

1 TIMOTHY 2:5-6
2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Not the "god-man", but the man, Christ Jesus.

Yet many unlearned and unstable minds still reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ for another gospel of the mystery.

2 PETER 3:14-16
3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 3:15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Despite the many times Jesus and his Apostles testify to God being One, (Echad in Hebrew), the unlearned and unstable twist the Scriptures to their own eternal destruction - and they have no rational explanation for why they embrace that ultimate blasphemy against the Living God by believing the lie of the mystery of the Trinity of Egypt, and before that, Babylon.

The Son of God does not mean, God the Son, no matter how far the Scriptures are twisted into blasphemy.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:11-12
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Listen to the will of God: Worship the Lord God Almighty only, just like Jesus, his Apostles, and as the angel testifies to John:

REVELATION 19:10
19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

And once again for emphasis;

REVELATION 22:8-9
22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard [them.] And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See [thou do it] not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches... Shema.

THE WORD OF GOD

GENESIS 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 1:4 And God saw the light, that [it was] good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Considering that the sun, the moon, and the stars were not created until the fourth day, the nature of the Light was once a mystery under the Law.

However, with the coming of Jesus Christ, that Light was revealed by the Apostle John.

JOHN 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and [* with] the Word was God. 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

* see Library section “The Great Tribulation”, “The Strong Delusion” for the evidence for the corruption of the translation from the Greek text.

The Word is the living Word, Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

The Lord Almighty is the Speaker of the Word, our Redeemer, and Jesus Christ is that which was spoken by the Speaker – His Word, bond, and promise of a better covenant to everlasting life.

Jesus and his Apostles described the simplicity that is in Christ as something every human mind could grasp - the Father and Son relationship.

The entire controversy that began at the foundation of the world, when the Great Disruption interrupted eternity by the rebellion of the principalities, powers, and rulers in high places, begins and ends with the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world, who would come in the flesh and die on the cross as more than the ultimate atonement for sin but to also make himself our high priest, in the order of Melchizedek.

The Alpha And Omega

The phrase, "Alpha and Omega", which is unique to only four occurances found in the Apocalypse, were not present in the oldest manuscripts.

It should be noted that the phrase, "Alpha and Omega" is an idiom meaning, "that which is written, from A to Z", used as a declarative description, rather than a title.

From the declaration of Christ that the Apostle Paul made in the Book of Hebrews, the meaning comes forth.

HEBREWS 10:7
10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

This is a direct reference to the Psalm, which speaks of the Messiah, who would eventually sit on the throne of king David.

PSALMS 40:7-9
40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book [it is] written of me, 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law [is] within my heart. 40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

The Father spoke the Word, and everything written speaks of the Word, His Son, Jesus Christ.

JOHN 5:39
5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

In the phrase, "Alpha and Omega", we have both the Speaker and that which was spoken - everything written in the Scriptures, from A to Z, that testifies to the one upon whom the New Covenant would ultimately be lawfully executed by his Blood.

For that reason, we do not discard or disregard the phrase as a spurious latter addition, but maintain it as a valid reference to the Psalm, rather than a formal title of divinity.

The Doctrine Of The Christ

Whereas, the people of the Dragon's Mystery of Iniquity, that is to say, the Mystery of the Trinity, rely exclusively on the distortion of translations, ascribing esoteric private interpretations inserted out of context, and by the relentless insistence that the Lord Almighty had misrepresented Himself as One God to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the children of Israel, while secretly being the triune gods that Moses left behind in Egypt, as if that blasphemy was somehow hidden within the plain and simple meaning of the Shema.

One Messiah is in one accord with the Law of God; the other, the Lawless one is in transgression of the Shema, claiming to be a god himself, falsely testifying to be so, as found in the Gospel of John.

JOHN 5:39-47
5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 5:40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 5:41 I receive not honour from men. 5:42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 5:44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that [cometh] from God only? 5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is [one] that accuseth you, [even] Moses, in whom ye trust. 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

The Shema is the only Divine authority for the definitive and official doctrine of Christ, established in Paul's Epistle to the Hebrews.

By contrast, neither Jesus nor any of his Apostles ever testified to any validity of the Mystery of the Trinity, nor produced any doctrinal epistle to support or otherwise endorse the wholesale transgression of the first Commandment of the Law – the Shema.

Therefore, the doctrine of Christ is fully explained in the Epistle of Paul to the Hebrews; its teachings define the promise, the purpose, the nature and the identity of the Christ – essential for understanding how Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled the Law and Ordinances of the Covenant of Promise made with Moses.

Jerusalem

Understand that before the Tabernacle and priesthood of the sons of Levi, there was a king and priest of the Most High God reigning in Salem, the original town that would grow into Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is a name made up of two words: Yarah (Strong's Hebrew 3384) meaning, to pierce through, and; Shalam (Strong's Hebrew 7999) meaning, peace by amends made.

Jerusalem literally means, “pierce through, peace by amends made”, as the prophetic name of the city, where Jesus would be crucified as the Lamb of God.

The earliest known king and priest of Salem was Melchizedek, who was a priest of the Most High God.

We find that record in the Book of Genesis.

The Melchizedek Priesthood

GENESIS 14:18-20
14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he [was] the priest of the most high God. 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed [be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

That Melchizedek priest to the Most High God offered bread and wine as the acceptable offering, which also spoke prophetically of the offering to be made by the Messiah, forty-two generations later.

MATTHEW 26:26-29
26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed [it,] and brake [it,] and gave [it] to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

The prophetic nature of the offering made by Melchizedek is made evident by the Psalm, which speaks directly of the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, within the context of the priesthood of Melchizedek.

PSALM 110
110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. 110:3 Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. 110:4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. 110:5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill [the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. 110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

In Melchizedek, we have both, a priest and a king.

Prophecy Fulfilled in Christ

In the New Testament, Paul spoke directly to the role of Jesus Christ holding that same priesthood between God and man, and the promise of a New Covenant to come after the Old, made to Moses.

HEBREWS 5 :1-4
5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things [pertaining] to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: 5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. 5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. 5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as [was] Aaron.

That was the order of the Aaronic priesthood, installed at the time of Moses, of the Old Covenant.

The New Covenant installed Jesus Christ into the higher order, the fulfillment of the priest of the order of Melchizedek.

HEBREWS 5 :5
5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, not in the way of the begetting of men, but by the Spirit of God, for the one He had reserved.

HEBREWS 5 :6
5:6 As he saith also in another [place,] Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

That is found in Psalm 110:4, making Jesus Christ a priest in the order of Melchizedek forever.

HEBREWS 5 :7-9
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

HEBREWS 5 :10-14
5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 5:13 For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Paul finds it almost futile to explain the full meaning of the purpose of Christ and his everlasting priesthood because so many were still struggling with the basics of the Faith from the beginning.

Nevertheless, Paul presses on toward giving them a fuller understanding, that they may mature in time to understand.

HEBREWS 6:1-2
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Paul explains that the fullness of the Faith is the coming Day of the Lord, for the Testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy – and this is why:

HEBREWS 6:2-8
6:3 And this will we do, if God permit. 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 6:8 But that which beareth thorns and briers [is] rejected, and [is] nigh unto cursing; whose end [is] to be burned.

In simpler terms; those who have been baptized into Christ will certainly perish if they blaspheme by worshiping the false god-man of the Romans, at his coming.

HEBREWS 6:9-12
6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak. 6:10 For God [is] not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

The patience and Faith of the saints is the path to receiving the promises of Christ, regarding the kingdom of God.

HEBREWS 6:13-17
6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 6:16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation [is] to them an end of all strife. 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath: 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 6:19 Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

What Paul is stating is that the Lord Almighty walked the people through His promises, in order to teach them to build their Faith upon empirical facts, that they witnessed firsthand, rather than requiring blind faith alone.

And the necessity for a High Priest to go before the Lord Almighty to [essentially] lawyer the Covenant, from which the judgment of God comes, according to the testified Promises of God.

HEBREWS 7:1-3
7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

Paul says that Melchisedec was not born; he was from no earthly family; he never died, and he never stepped down from performing this priesthood office.

Paul makes it as clear as possible that this Melchisedec was an angelic being, in appearance, a man of the celestial body, toned down in glory, to blend in with the people.

That is further supported further into the Book of Hebrews, at verse 13:2, where Paul said, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

HEBREWS 7:4-8
7:4 Now consider how great this man [was,] unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he [receiveth them,] of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

Paul is essentially saying that if this Melchisedec is an angelic being, and he continues performing that office for all time, and he is the image of the Son of God, who is that Melchisedec priest, they are one and the same – first angelic, then flesh, and then angelic in resurrection.

Paul is saying that Jesus Christ indeed pre-existed and was active in the revelation of God to man from day one, as there is no space to misconstrue these statements made by Paul.

Further, it should be noted that Jesus Christ did not pre-exist as God; he was the High Priest to God, among men.

HEBREWS 7:9-13
7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need [was there] that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

Paul further explains that this Melchisedec was without sin, to qualify for that office, which even the latter priests of Levi required to be cleansed before entering the Sanctuary, Melchisedec had no need of such cleansing.

HEBREWS 7:14-17
7:14 For [it is] evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

Paul explains that in the making of the New Covenant, the High Priest of Melchisedec would not be changed, so it is made evident that these two were one and the same.

HEBREWS 7:18-21
7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope [did;] by the which we draw nigh unto God. 7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath [he was made priest:] 7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

That is the Promise of God, the Word from the beginning, made manifest in the flesh, who paid the penalty for all, then was resurrected back into his everlasting priesthood, as Paul continues.

HEBREWS 7:22-25
7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 7:24 But this [man,] because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Paul removes any remaining doubt that Jesus pre-existed as Melchisedec, by that reasoning – Jesus was raised into everlasting life to hold that office forever.

HEBREWS 7:26-28
7:26 For such an high priest became us, [who is] holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, [maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Paul is saying that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, being perfect in faith and works, came in the flesh, and had to make the intercession for all, to hold that priesthood under the New Covenant, which would bring eternal life for all.

Paul continues straight into the following chapter.

HEBREWS 8:1-2
8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

That is the role of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

He sits at the right Hand of God, justifying the imperfect through his cleansing blood, and maintains the true Sanctuary of God in heaven.

HEBREWS 8:3-5
8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore [it is] of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

The Sanctuary on earth, under the Law, was a pattern of the true, and very real Sanctuary in heaven.

HEBREWS 8:6-13
8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 8:7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 8:10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. 8:13 In that he saith, A new [covenant,] he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away.

Understand the pattern of the Tabernacle on earth, which was a facsimile of the true Tabernacle of God in heaven.

HEBREWS 9:1-2
9:1 Then verily the first [covenant] had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary. 9:2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein [was] the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

Within that Sanctuary, was the holy of Holies, behind the veil.

HEBREWS 9:3-5
9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein [was] the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; 9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

HEBREWS 9:6-7
9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God.] 9:7 But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people:

The holy of Holies is where the presence of the Lord Almighty resides.

Only the High Priest may enter therein, after being cleansed of all sin and unrighteousness.

HEBREWS 9:8-10
9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: 9:9 Which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 9:10 [Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed [on them] until the time of reformation.

When performed under the Law, the mediation was temporary, and not eternal, requiring the High Priest to cleanse and make the offering continually, year after year because it was made imperfect by the nature of the High Priest falling short by reason of the imperfect flesh.

HEBREWS 9:11-14
9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us.] 9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Paul continues to explain, because Jesus Christ is risen, and resurrected from the corruptible terrestrial into the incorruptible celestial body, his blood offered once, never has to be offered again - the offering remains perfected.

HEBREWS 9:15
9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

By that pure Blood of the Passover Lamb of God, eternal life, the inheritance of resurrection into the celestial body from the dead, was made possible for all; some to everlasting life, others to everlasting destruction.

HEBREWS 9:16-17
9:16 For where a testament [is,] there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 9:17 For a testament [is] of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Paul goes on to explain the necessity of that Blood of the Lamb.

HEBREWS 9:18-22
9:18 Whereupon neither the first [testament] was dedicated without blood. 9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 9:20 Saying, This [is] the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without the shedding of blood is no remission.

With that understood, Paul explains how the blood of animals was insufficient on the eternal level, and what would be eternally acceptable in the true Tabernacle, in the realm of heaven.

HEBREWS 9:23-26
9:23 [It was] therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Paul stated, that is the fulfillment of the Law or the Ordinances for the propitiation, the atonement for the sins of the world – from aeon to aeon.

HEBREWS 9:27-28
9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

And all of the Law, its Ordinances, and the Tabernacle were all designed and the practices prescribed to point toward the ultimate Salvation of men, for a reconciliation for those who would, to enter into the everlasting kingdom of God on that great and terrible Day of the Lord at His coming.

The Lord Almighty Is Not The Serpent God

This doctrine, as a whole, leaves no space to legitimately insert an alien doctrine of God reincarnating Himself as Jesus Christ, where there is no actual mediator between God and man, merely God “faking” adherence to His own Law by becoming an avatar, as the Hindu god Vishnu, lord of Shesha, king of the serpents.

That avatar god is definitely not the Holy One of Israel.

Nothing that Jesus said, nor his Apostles, nor any of the prophets can be legitimately construed to be an esoteric Trinity, hidden discretely between the lines of Scripture – without a testimony to support it.

Jesus Is The Heir Of The Almighty

As it is written, Jesus Christ is proclaimed the Heir of the Lord Almighty.

HEBREWS 1:1-4
1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 1:3 Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

The entire Epistle to the Hebrews is a Book of doctrine that establishes Christ in very certain and concrete terms, which definitively exclude the esoteric triune mystery gods of the Serpent.

Space To Repent

Now it is a profound shock to the deceived human heart to discover that one has been worshipping the Antichrist, the false god-man of the Dragon – but until he has appeared, a space remains for repentance.

Imagine the shock of the church of Thyatira when Jesus Christ confronted their

REVELATION 3:20-23
2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Therefore, repent and cease all worship of the Dragon and the Beast - come out of Babylon before the Days of Vengeance and the third angel proclaims,

REVELATION 14:9-12
14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

The Testimony from the mouth God remains faithful and true.

DEUTERONOMY 6:4
6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD.

As the Son likewise testified.

MARK 12:29
12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is,] Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Jesus Christ is that faithful and true witness, who testifies that the Lord our God, his Father, his God - is One.

JOHN 3:16-21
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Therefore, repent.

FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

Jesus Christ is referred to in the New Testament as “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”.

But what does the “foundation of the world” mean exactly?

For expediency and great accuracy, the literary scholarship of Dr. E.W. Bullinger for the Greek nouns and verbs shall be cited heavily in this topic.

This foundation is not a reference to any of the creative acts in the first chapter of Genesis, so how does it fit into the whole narrative?

In Matthew 13:35, Jesus said, “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.”

A huge part of the things kept secret was the foundation of the world itself.

Reading the Gospel in Greek, we are confronted with some astonishing things by that simple statement alone.

To arrive at the true meaning of the expression, “the foundation of the world”, we must note that there are two Greek words translated "foundation" in the New Testament: (1) themelios, Strong's Greek dictionary number 2310, and (2) katabole, Strong's Greek dictionary number 2602.

The Greek Noun: Themelios

The Greek Noun (Strong's Greek 2310), themelios, occurs in the following scriptures:

LUKE 6:48
6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded (Strong's Greek 2311) upon a rock.

LUKE 6:49
6:49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

LUKE 14.29
14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310), and is not able to finish [it,] all that behold [it] begin to mock him,

ACTS 16:26
16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations (Strong's Greek 2310) of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

ROMANS 15:20
15:20 Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation (Strong's Greek 2310):

1 CORINTHIANS 3:10-12
3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310), and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 3:11 For other foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

EPHESIANS 2:20
2:20 And are built upon the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone;]

1 TIMOTHY 6:19
6:19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

2 TIMOTHY 2:19
2:19 Nevertheless the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

HEBREWS 6:1
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

HEBREWS 11:10
11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations (Strong's Greek 2310), whose builder and maker [is] God.

REVELATION 21:14
21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations (Strong's Greek 2310), and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

REVELATION 21:19
21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

In each rendering of the Greek Noun themelios in the New Testament, it is rendered properly, meaning a foundation, just like we understand the word to mean in English.

That Noun themelios is never used in conjunction with the world (Strong's Greek 2889: kosmos) or the earth (Strong's Greek 1093: ge).

The Greek Verb: Themeliou

The corresponding Greek Verb (Strong's Greek 2311) themeliou occurs in the following scriptures:

MATTHEW 7:25
7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded (Strong's Greek 2311) upon a rock.

LUKE 6:48
6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded (Strong's Greek 2311) upon a rock.

EPHESIANS 3:17
3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded (Strong's Greek 2311) in love,

COLOSSIANS 1:23
1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded (Strong's Greek 2311) and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

HEBREWS 1:10
1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310) of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

1 PETER 5:10
5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle (Strong's Greek 2311) [you.]

The Greek Verb themeliou is only once used of the earth (Greek: ge) in Hebrews 1:10.

A comparison of all these passages will show that these are proper and regular terms for the English words "to found", and "foundation".

Now this is where things get very interesting.

The Greek Noun: Katabole

The Greek Noun (Strong's Greek 2602), katabole, occurs in the following scriptures, and it's not a foundation at all.

The Greek Noun means an event, an overthrow:

MATTHEW 13:35
13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos).

MATTHEW 25:34
25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos):

LUKE 11:50
11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos), may be required of this generation;

JOHN 17:24
17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos).

EPHESIANS 1:4
1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos), that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

HEBREWS 4:3
4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos).

HEBREWS 9:26
9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos): but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

HEBREWS 11:11
11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive (Strong's Greek 2602) seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

1 PETER 1:20
1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos), but was manifest in these last times for you,

REVELATION 13:8
13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos).

REVELATION 17:8
17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation (Strong's Greek 2602) of the world (Strong's Greek 2889 kosmos), when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

It's interesting that Jesus and his apostles are referencing an event, which they call, the overthrow of the kosmos. In English, the cosmos means all of creation.

It is a Greek word we are familiar with today.

The Greek Verb: Kataballo

Now the corresponding Greek Verb (Strong's Greek 2598) kataballo occurs in 2 Corinthians 4:9, Hebrews 6:1, and Revelation 12:10.

We will get a very clear sense of the word in these three occurrences of the verb kataballo.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:9
4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down (Strong's Greek 2598), but not destroyed;

HEBREWS 6:1
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying (Strong's Greek 2598) again the foundation (Strong's Greek 2310 themelios) of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

REVELATION 12:10
12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down (Strong's Greek 2598), which accused them before our God day and night.

A comparison of all these passages (especially 2 Corinthians 4:9, and Revelation 12:10) will show that kataballo and kalabole are not the proper terms for founding and foundation, but the correct meaning is the verb, casting down, or overthrow.

Consistency, therefore, calls for the same translation in Hebrews 6:1, where, instead of "not laying again", the rendering should be "not casting down".

That is to say, the foundation already laid, of repentance, etc., was not to be cast down or overthrown, but was to be left - and progress made unto the perfection.

Accordingly, the Greek Noun (Strong's Greek 2602) katabole, derived from, and cognate with the Verb, ought to be translated "disruption", or "ruin".

The Cosmos Destroyed

The remarkable thing is that in all occurrences (except Hebrews 11:11) the word is connected with "the world" (G2889 kosmos), and therefore the expression should be rendered "the disruption (or ruin) of the world", clearly referring to the condition indicated in Genesis 1:2, and described in 2 Peter 3:5-6.

2 PETER 3:5-6
3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

Peter isn't speaking of Noah's flood, the heavens and the earth did not perish in the Deluge.

The olive branch, which the dove returned to the ark with, demonstrates that only breathing, flesh creatures perished but not the world, not the kosmos.

Peter is speaking of the condition of the world in Genesis 1:2

GENESIS 1:2
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

In Hebrew, the earth became without form and void. The Hebrew word rendered as “was” is Strong's Hebrew dictionary number 1961 hayah, which here, means became, in the identical sense of the same word used in the verse immediately following.

GENESIS 1:3
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was (Strong's Hebrew 1961 hayah) light.

We can understand that the earth became without form and void, but what does that mean exactly?

In Hebrew, the phrase is tohu va bohu. Strong's Hebrew dictionary numbers 8414 (tohu) and 922 (bohu).

- Tohu (8414) meaning, "wasted".

- Va is a conjunction, meaning, "and".

- Bohu (922) meaning, a "ruin".

But the prophet Isaiah said that the earth was not created ruined, or tohu.

ISIAH 45:18
45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain (Strong's Hebrew 8414 tohu), he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else.

The earth became that way, tohu, a ruin, as stated in the Hebrew of Genesis 1:2 and confirmed by 2 Peter 3:6, where "the world that then was by the word of God" (Genesis 1:1), perished, and "the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word" were created (Genesis 2:4), and are "kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment" (2 Peter 3:7) which shall usher in the "new heavens and the new earth" of 2 Peter 3:13.

"The disruption of the world" is an event forming a great dividing line in the dispensations of the ages. In Genesis 1:1 we have the founding of the world (Hebrews 1:10 - themeliou), but in Genesis 1:2 we have its overthrow - kataballo.

This is confirmed by a further remarkable fact, that the phrase, which occurs ten times, is associated with the Greek preposition apo = “from” seven times, and with pro = “before” three times.

The former refers to the kingdom, and is connected with the "counsels" of God; the latter refers to the Mystery (or Parables) and is connected with the "purpose" of God (see John 17:24, Ephesians 1:4, 1 Peter 1:20).

Plenty of New Testament testimony is given to the profoundly significant fact recorded in Genesis 1:2, that "the earth became tohu va bohu (i.e. Hebrew for “wasted and a ruin”); and darkness was on the face of the deep", the creation of "the heavens and the earth which are now" (2 Peter 3:7).

Some people call this “The Gap Theory” but there's no theory about it, the witness in the creation, our planet's geology, testifies to the Bible being true – the earth was originally created aeons ago.

It was destroyed by the waters (and Revelation 17:15 will also reveal another "secret kept hidden from the foundation of the world").

That's also how there are mountains with thousands of years of water erosion etched into them, it's how the Grand Canyon was formed.

The earth's geology testifies to a planet that is far older than just 6,000 years, it testifies to the world that then was, which perished at an event called the Katabole, when God destroyed this world once before.

He will destroy this world again by fire, which He will recreate as a new heavens and new earth – just as the apostle Peter testified to us long ago.

The Three Aeons Of The Heavens And The Earth

2 PETER 3:1-13
3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in [both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as [they were] from the beginning of the creation. 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 3:11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness, 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

What Happened To The World That Then Was?

Besides Genesis 1:2, there is only one other mention of the world that was then becoming without form and void, tohu va bohu, by the prophet Jeremiah.

It was destroyed in the fury of the Lord's wrath, and mentioned to prophetically foreshadow the destruction of this world at the end of this aeon.

JEREMIAH 4:23-31
4:23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, [it was] without form, and void; and the heavens, and they [had] no light. 4:24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. 4:25 I beheld, and, lo, [there was] no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place [was] a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, [and] by his fierce anger. 4:27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. 4:28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken [it,] I have purposed [it,] and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it. 4:29 The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city [shall be] forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. 4:30 And [when] thou [art] spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; [thy] lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life. 4:31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, [and] the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, [that] bewaileth herself, [that] spreadeth her hands, [saying,] Woe [is] me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

REVELATION 12:1-5
12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] his throne.

Who Started This Rebellion And Why?

EZEKIEL 28:11-19
28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 28:14 Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so:] thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more.

This is the Adversary of mankind, who was on earth, in the Garden of Eden, to destroy the woman through a lie, the gospel of the Serpent – human ascendency to self-deification, autotheosis, that she would be as God.

GENESIS 3:1
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

GENESIS 3:4-5
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

From all of this information provided to us throughout the Bible, it should become clear that a great war started, a rebellion that engulfed heaven and earth for aeons, way beyond 6,000 years ago.

It is still raging to this day and will continue until the end of this aeon, on the great and terrible Day of the Lord.

Why is understanding the beginning important to understanding the end?

Because the Lord, in His wrath, destroyed everything once before.

But to set things right, and to fairly judge beings who had no concept of death before, He has created this temporal version of the eternal things as a stage to allow a great drama to play out, so that He can righteously and fairly separate those who will obey His laws and condemn those still in rebellion to destruction for fighting against His perfect ways.

ISAIAH 46:9-10
46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

This is coming closer to gaining the understanding of the Mystery of God, which will be finished at the Seventh Trumpet.

REVELATION 10:7
10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

The Mystery of God is a big subject and there is a lot more contained in the Bible than we realize.

Very few of us can see the canyons and mountains and not understand that an upheaval hit this earth many millions of years ago.

Peter said, there are those who are willingly ignorant of these obvious things.

Let no one deceive you, Noah's flood did not destroy the heavens and the earth in that Deluge.

We can see the geologic upheavals, mountain tops eroded by waters, canyons carved by water and know without a doubt that the apostle Peter was speaking clearly about an event, the katabole that wrecked the planet long ago, when there once were cities destroyed, and all of the people in those cities destroyed from the face of the earth.

When the world was void and without form, and there was no light, spoken of in Jeremiah 4:23.

In Genesis 1:2 we find the earth in that wrecked state, and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep, in Hebrew, darkness was on the face of the ABYSS. In John chapter 1, verse 5, the light shined in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

How could a Lamb slain at the overthrow, or ruin of the cosmos, affect the future?

The Dragon swept a third of the stars of heaven but can a man steal from God?

God's will is that none should perish.

Restoring what is restorable is the Mystery of God that will be made manifest in new heavens and a new earth.

The eternity that existed before was interrupted by that covering cherub, Lucifer, who wanted to make himself a greater god than his own Creator.

He rebelled, fought a massive war and lost.

And he was cast down - here.

The religious empires of the Dragon, and his false god-man messiah has been hard at work, conquering and "winning" the souls of men.

Jesus Christ never told anyone to "win" souls like a commodity to be traded for their tithe money, but to preach the Gospel to all nations.
